Jumeirah Carlton Tower has 9 stunning private dining and meeting rooms designed for a wide range of functions from cocktails parties to dinners, conferences, wedding receptions and marriage ceremonies. The hotels exclusive rooms are both versatile and elegant and promise an immaculate reception whatever the occasion. The Ball Room can accommodate up to 400 people for a sit-down dinner or up to 700 for a cocktail reception.   The Garden Rooms can accommodate up to 200 people.

The Role of Fixed Term Second Commis Chef:

The successful Fixed Term Second Commis Chef will report to the Executive Chef, prepping and cooking food to a very high standard for Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel.

As a Second Commis Chef your role will involve the preparation of mis en place and help in the day to day running of the kitchen.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a quality kitchen environment and develop their skills whilst working to the five-star standards required. The successful Fixed Term Second Commis chef will have a passion for food and a desire to deliver the highest quality cuisine.

The role is offered on a fixed term basis to commence immediately and finish 31st December 2009.

Experience & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will already have attained an NVQ in Food Preparation or equivalent, or be planning to undertake a qualification. Basic cooking skills such as NVQ or equivalent.
