Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel in Kuwait City is a luxurious beachfront development featuring 395 rooms and suites, 80 serviced apartments and 12 chalets. Guests of the hotel will have access to a 200-metre private beach, a Talise Spa, swimming pool, children's play area and six restaurants and lounges. The hotel will also feature extensive conference and banqueting facilities.

As the I.T Specialist you will provide excellent IT support service to both internal and external customers within the limits of established Jumeirah policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring that all users are provided with the necessary support during their day to day activities to enhance productivity;
• Responding to guest and colleagues queries in a friendly and efficient manner to ensure user satisfaction;
• Maintaining all hotel data in accordance with company security standards;
• Monitoring the performance of Networks, Servers, Workstations and peripherals and informs the Director of IT of any abnormalities to ensure that high performance standards are maintained;
• Keeping up to date with IT knowledge and trends to enable continuous improvement to the services offered to users;
• Ensuring standards are maintained and well communicated to colleagues to maximise efficiency;
• Creating user accounts and allocating necessary access to enable users to access appropriate folders and sites;
• Ensuring that all requests to the IT Department are logged in the defined manner to ensure accurate records are kept and analyse recurring themes.

To move into this position you will bring at least 1 year of experience gained in an environment which required practical usage of your technical skills or your experience gained working in a network company. You will have a minimum of one year of experience on Servers hardware and software and have good knowledge of RAID. Along with your hands on experience on AD and Exchange you will have hands on experience on basic Networking using network components. A Diploma in IT and attendance of MCSE track or CCNA track is essential.
